I took pictures of the room as I had just checked in went in the room just to see a bed made that was COVERED in hair.!!! I was in Orlando for a concert and my daughter who lives in florida booked the room for me and my husband and it was around maybe 1am when I checked in which would technically be on and i had called around for other hotels near by etc none in which were available as we were unable to check in until 12 in the afternoon on. I paid almost $300 for a two night stay when I arrived in my room the bedsheets were covered in hair the hotel smell like marijuana they had no housekeeping on shift very rude and very unhelpful staff the area was just very ridiculous for the price that they were charging the rooms were disgusting and filthy we are in the middle of a pandemic so there should be thorough cleaning and disinfecting of the room and none of that was done for the protection and safety of customers. We are JUST SO SO angry that they ruined our wonderful Disney trip we had saved $$$$ so long for ! I disputed the charges with my bank and the resort refused to acknowledge issue or refund the $490.81 - we even got surveys from the resort CEO and we filled them all out asking him to PLEASE PLEASE call us but to no avail ! I called for 2 weeks after arriving home and she would not take my calls at all. ![]() I have pictures of items) We spoke to manager barbara the second day and she told us she apologized and would refund our money for the stay. Many broken doors and very dirty bathroom walls. We then called yet again and housekeeping brought up 26 pillow cases !! Yes twenty six!! ( not joking) Elevator was broken at one point and we were on 3rd floor room. On April 2-6, 2022 my husband and I went to Disney world in Orlando and stayed at the Avanti palms resort in Orlando Floridaįrom day 1 the toilet was broken ( maintenance came in but did not fix it) EVERY NIGHT of our stay we had to turn the water off at the toilet in order to sleep - additionally, the entire room vibrated constantly from possibly staff laundry room or some machine ( I have a video of room shaking at MIDNIGHT) We also found a condom floating in the pool next to the kids, we asked 3 times for a blanket for bed and when housekeeping came finally on the 3rd day they brought not a blanket but 2 sets of queen sheets instead! ( was king bed room). We didn’t fill safe at all while our stay at avanti and management never tried to help. When asked for a manager they would avoid us. To top it all off, the resort said we never contacted them to explain our concerns to them, which is untrue they just weren’t helpful and had horrible customer service. ![]() We also asked room cleaners not to enter our room while we were gone and they agreed and when we came back we could tell they didn’t follow orders. Ac was not working either and the second day we heard the loud bang again which was very concerning. The room was also dirty and smelled awful but we dealt with it because it seemed the front desk did not want to help. Once again we asked to get moved and they moved us within the same building. We then asked the front desk to be put into a different building and all they could do was move us 5 rooms down which was even dirtier than the first and it smelled like marijuana and a huge bag of dirty towels in the room. While trying to figure that door out, the guest next door came out and said someone was about to get shot. Then we noticed our room was connecting to the room next door and the door was broken which allowed the guest next door access to our room. Hours later it happened again which made us feel unsafe. We immediately contacted the front desk and they said security would come our way and they never did. Then 10 minutes laters we heard a loud bang, that was someone kicking our room trying to get in. We checked in and checked out Upon arrival we immediately were upset due to the smell and dirtiness of the room.
